This month, we will get an up-close look at GECOM's Information Systems. A tour of the computer room will be followed by a presentation of their future plans. The meeting will finish with an open discussion, so bring your questions.
GECOM has an AS400, an OS Warp LAN, and runs Windows applications on the OS LAN. Manufacturing, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Human Resources (time and attendance) packages are all run on their system. Topics for discussion could include these areas, plus LAN/WAN and Data Collections.
