Spelling words for this week are taken from our new story. The children should practice spelling the words and reading the words daily.

Show and Tell
Show and Tell will be only on Fridays from now on. Continue to allow your child to share interesting treasures from home.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences went very well with 100% attendance! I enjoyed meeting and talking to all of you. Thanks for making time in your day!
Subtraction
We have started subtraction and find it a little more difficult than addition. You may want to practice with your child at home. We use flash cards at school and play addition and subtraction bingo.
Reading
Each child needs to be reading each evening. He should be bringing home his reader, library books, take home books, Bookmobile books and flash cards. He may also read books that you have at home.
Don't forget to write down the names of books read for the Pizza Hut Book-It Program. Many students have completed the 10 books for the month of October! Great job!!
