Spelling

Because of the short week, we will have no spelling test. This is a great time to review words from previous lists!!

Thanksgiving Holiday

The children will be dismissed at 12:00 Wednesday for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Remind your child how he is to go home so we will have little confusion at dismissal time. You will need to send a note with your child if he is to go home a different way.

Science

We just started a new unit in science about our bodies. We will be learning about body parts, movement, the senses and how to take good care of our bodies.

Let your child share with the family what he is learning at school.

Reading

We will begin the last story in the reader Tuesday. Your child should be able to read any story in the reader to you now. Let him read to Grandma over Thanksgiving.

We will test over the book next week and then start our third reader. The children are very excited! Reading is so much fun!!!!
