Reading

The children have a new reader and are very excited about it! This is our last reader in the first grade. Allow your child to share the neat stories with you and the family.

Report Cards

Please sign and return the report card to school as soon as possible. I hope you take time to review the card with your child. Tell your child what he is doing well and help him think of ways to improve this last 6 weeks.

Good-Bye

Today we must say good-bye to one of our friends. C. J. Miller is moving to Ohio this weekend. It is always sad to say good-bye, but it is also a very exciting time for C. J. and his family.

We all wish the Miller family well!

Early Dismissal

The children will be dismissed at 12:00 Tuesday for a Staff Development Day. Make sure your child knows how he is to go home.

Hot Dog Supper and Art Fair

Thursday is the Hot Dog Supper and Art Fair. Dinner will be served from 5:15 to 6:30. The students art work will be on display in the hallways of the building. Come and enjoy a fun-filled evening!
